The Aubrac Plain, the Larzac moors and the Grands Causses Regional Park are places where you can walk and mountain bike.

Gastronomy :

The Aveyron is famed for its regional gastronomy. It is famous for its cheeses (Roquefort, Laguiole, Bleu des Causses, and goat cheeses) its regional 'charcuterie' (cooked meats,) its Aligot (a sort of potato purée with tome fraîche cheese and garlic), tripoux (not unlike haggis), farcous (like hash browns) and lots of other specialities to discover.
